Golden Hour spring time edition is here. Join us on Sunday 16th April from 3pm for the fifth event of our series featuring Fluida (Anjunadeep/All Day I Dream), Ranj Kaler, Hunter S. and miniMel.
Fluida’s music manages to be both club friendly and intimate. The result is a breadth of sound that connects deeply with people in the evening and at those special moments in the early hours of the morning. Following several multicoloured ‘Spiral’ releases on Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried Records, the pair have quickly garnered diverse support from DJ’s such as Joris Voorn, Sasha, Roger Sanchez, Matthias Meyer, Lee Burridge, Tiesto, Audioy, Kölsch and Pete Tong. Further releases have come via Anjunadeep, Get Physical, Kindisch, Supernature, Flying Circus and Do Not Sit On The Furniture, alongside a series of vinyl only cuts on the duo’s own imprint. Fluida’s unique live/DJ set continues to set them apart, incorporating the steel pan ‘hang drum’ featured on many of their tracks.
Ranj Kaler has played in many of the big London clubs over the past two decades and is a veteran DJ we can trust to read the energy of the room. Since learning to produce, he has crafted the most
beautiful, infectious deep house tunes that are on compilations all over the world with a string of releases on labels such as Stripped Recordings, Affiliate, Balkan Connection, Capital Heaven, Pangea,
ARRVL, and Crossfade Soundsand. His music has also won him support from the likes of Francois K, Guy Gerber, Alex Neri, Nick Warren, Terry Farley plus many more. Ranj currently hosts a weekly show on London Music Radio and a monthly show on Frisky Radio. Deep grooves flowing with emotion, that’s how best to describe Ranj's music.
Hunter S is resident at Bloop London radio with his infamous brother Dean Mir. Hunter S brings deep organic house and melodica, influenced by the likes of Sasha, James Holden, Gorge Hewek, Tim Green and M.A.N.D.Y.
MiniMel's music spans from dreamy organic house to progressive, minimal & melodic techno. Taking inspiration from her own mixed heritage, miniMel’s sets are known to feature global sounds with many organic instrumental and vocal samples from around the world. MiniMel believes strongly in
the healing powers of dance floors, understanding them as sacred spaces for us to let go, discover different parts of ourselves, and connect to something larger.
Night Tales Loft is an intimate club and terrace overlooking the East London skyline. The space boasts an impressive concrete dance-floor with a top of range Funktion- One sound system, and an all-weather heated terrace where you can relax and enjoy the city scape.
The bar serves a range of draft and bottled beer plus a selection of creative and classic cocktails.
