- "Sometimes music is about number sequences". When Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary) and Apparat (Sascha Ring) decide to become one, it is a band called Moderat that is brought to life in their musical world. An act that has been shipping electronic music from Berlin to the far corners of the world since 2003. Uniting the heavy thundering bass of Modeselektor, which takes you straight to a basement rave, and the sensitive subtle melodies of Apparat, which make you float through tracks: is what makes Moderat unique. So they are still releasing the albums from 'II' and 'III' before taking a long break. In 2022, Sacha, Szary and Gernot return with their fourth album and brand new live show MORE D4TA. After almost two decades of making music together, they have developed their own sound and aesthetic. 'MORE D4TA' shows that the group is creatively recharged and we are going to see that reflected in this live show!
