- In May, Public Records will open the doors to its latest venture, an outdoor event space located directly adjacent to our current Garden space, simply named The Nursery. For our first season open, our music programming team has curated an eclectic series of Sunday parties that spans genres and perfectly encapsulates all that we are and where we aim to go. From May 28th to October 8th, every single Sunday we will present these diverse and exciting lineups in the Nursery. It’s a tri-angle of house-ness in the crux of Motor City meeting the Magic city, as we welcome three titans of the dancefloor. Repping Detroit is Marcellus Pittman, for ATL it’s Michael Scott and repping both as well as his hometown of Brooklyn, its Kai Alice. Combined, these three have seen it all and have been pivotal players in the genesis of house and techno across the years. Expect your classic favorites, unexpected deep cuts and a floor full of love and euphoric highs. Limited tickets will be sold at the door.
