  • We all need to save a few quid at this time of year. What with the girlfriend’s shopping demands, more footy games that ever, plus those yearly events, ‘Christmas’ and ‘New Year’s Eve’ on the horizon… to say the winter months are an expensive time of year would be like saying Sven Goran Erikkson was an overpaid piece of shit. So here then is Together; ready and willing to lift the financial gloom and despair as we present “The Hand-Me-Down Hoe-Down: Slightly Worn, but lovingly looked after” on Saturday 25th November. In a nutshell, it’s ‘Together on a Budget’… only without loosing any of the good stuff that you’ve come to expect from us. Rather than flashing your cash on some hot new designer gear this month, we instead urge you to pop down to your local Charity Shop and spend a maximum of 10 English Pounds, NO MORE, on your outfit for this charitable evening. Dressing up and looking silly is great fun, just ask Lily Savage, he’s made a career out of it!! So now that you’ve found something dashing to wear, next stop is Turnmills and a hot date with some of Europe’s leading DJ/Producers. Reading like a mini-festival, Mr Superdiscount himself Etienne De Crecy will be showing us the way alongside dance music’s most important new members; Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas. The Acid-house squadron aka Together residents Justin Robertson and Anil Chawla will also have you hanging from the ceilings, plus we welcome Gigolo Records’ formidable Oliver Huntemann, stars of 2006 - Simian Mobile Disco and Manchester indie-rebels Tramp! Elsewhere, Andy & Ed’s Legendary Swap Shop is back by popular demand, there’s more laughing gas to guzzle down and X-FM’s John Kennedy presents another exciting Midnight Ramble ensemble featuring The Nextmen, Kids in Tracksuits (Live) and the UK’s answer to 2ManyDJs – Streetlife DJs. Just don’t forget… Charity begins at Together.
