CHRIS DUCKENFIELD presents The History of Acid House
Acid House was the biggest youth movement of the late 20th century and Chris Duckenfield was there from the start. He studied it at great length and actually must have learnt quite alot whilst staggering around those northern Acid House institutions like the Hacienda, Kool Kat, Jive Turkey & Occasions.
He has since gone on to become one of the most respected DJ's in the world and is now responsible for some of the best, if not the THE best house music to ever be made in this country. He has owned 2 record labels and released under a slew of aliases, making house bombs as Swag and abstract electronica as RAC on Warp Records.
He's graced the turntables of clubs around the world from Sub Club in Glasgow to Mad Racket in Sydney, as well as London's Fabric and Manchester's Electric Chair, playing across the board from Disco to House. On this occasion however he'll be going back to where it all began for him as a DJ - Acid House.
