Named after the four states matter, the second instalment of Else's new party series channels the Liquid state. Following MATTER's debut event in May, the team invites more top-shelf talent to soundtrack the open-air club 'til late.
UK-born, Berlin-based producer and DJ Cressida debuts at MATTER. Cross-pollinating chunky breaks, groovy techno and IDM, his sets always provoke wild and wavey moods on the dancefloor.
Acclaimed artist Daniel Avery headlines the party. A stack of releases on Erol Alkan's label Phantasy Sound showcase Daniel's mutated tracks, touching on techno, ambient, jungle and drum'n'bass, paving the way to the in-demand artist he is now. Not to mention several collaborations with multi-disciplined names like Manni Dee, HAAi, Sherelle and many more.
Commanding a space within the deeper realms of techno, vinyl-only DJ and producer Mary Yuzovskaya plays MATTER. Over the last 16 years, the Monday Off label boss has cultivated her own blisteringly-precise mixing techniques while exploring techno's trippier, more hypnotic side.
Known for his cerebral aesthetic in 4/4 sounds, Italian artist Neel goes B2B with MATTER's own DJ Red. Together, the pair will dig into their combined collection of enticing soundscapes for a surreal session on the dancefloor.
Peter Van Hoesen joins the bill for a special live performance. Using a sprawling machine setup, Peter's passion for the craft shines throughout his live sets, ranging from misty soundscapes to barrelling techno.
MATTER residents Tapefeed complete the bill. Through their label Inveterate, the pair explore techno in all its formats, from tribal to rave, and the same goes for their fluid DJ sets.

Where is Else?
In the heart of East Berlin, right beside Treptower Park SBahn Station.
What if it rains?
Else's entire open-air dancefloor is covered by a transparent roof that will keep you warm and dry.
What's the sound system?
There's a brand new, high-end sound system: Lambda Labs QX3 and a new DJ booth, which is surrounded by the crowd from all sides.
When does the indoor room open?
After 22:00 'til the early hours.
Is there food?
Oven-baked pizza all-day.
Is there a chill-out space?
Hang out and have a drink at our riverside terrace.

Where can I buy a ticket?
Tickets are available on RA and at the door with a CARD or Bitcoin payment.
