weeeirdos ist eine queere Berliner Partyreihe und Plattform, die seit 2017 von Lolsnake betrieben wird. Zur ersten Ausgabe in der Säule spielt mit Abyss X eine aus Kreta stammende, interdisziplinär arbeitende Künstlerin und Performerin. In ihrer Musik verschmilzt sie Elemente aus Pop, Jazz, Techno und Noise, die sie in ihren Liveshows mit ihrer vier Oktaven umfassenden Stimme toppt. Bevor Abyss X ihre Karriere als Musikerin startete, arbeitete sie als Tänzerin, Theaterregisseurin und Videodesignerin. Die in Kanada lebende Chippy Nonstop hat mit dem Intersessions Kollektiv eine wichtige Plattform für Frauen* und nichtbinäre Personen gegründet, in ihrer Musik switcht sie mühelos zwischen hartem Techno und anderen Upbeat-Genres wie Footwork. Miss Parker ist ein*e DJ und Partyveranstalter*in aus New York mit einer infektiösen Leidenschaft für ravige Dance-Musik. Abgerundet wird das Programm vom Kopenhagener Schacke.
weeeirdos is a queer party series and platform in Berlin run by Lolsnake since 2017. For the first edition at Säule, there will be a live performance by Abyss X, an interdisciplinary artist from Crete who started her career as a dancer, theatre director and video designer. In her music, she fuses elements of pop, jazz, techno and noise, unified by her four-octave voice. Canada-based Chippy Nonstop is the founder of the Intersessions collective, a platform empowering women and non-binary people, and her music effortlessly switches between hard techno and other upbeat genres like footwork. Miss Parker is a DJ and party promoter from New York with an infectious passion for ravey dance music. Rounding off the lineup is Schacke from Copenhagen.
