Light Minded is a DJ, producer, owner of the Switch Music Recordings record label and computer technology enthusiast. Studying technology applied to music, Light Minded has stood out in the scene thanks to his interest in modernization without ever leaving the past and merging technological innovation with traditional Drum Machines and Vintage Synthesizers.
Dj musician since the 90s, in 2009 he became artistic director of Switch, a Bolognese collective specialising in electronic music, and then founded Switch Music Recordings, a record label that ranges from Deep Techno to more avant-garde electronics. His live & DJ sets have supported artists such as Terence Fixmer, Octave-One, Ellen Allien, Adam Beyer, Perc, Maceo Plex and many more. In addition to clubs, he has played in different contexts, also together with musicians, performers and visual artists, with whom he has created original shows ranging from Electronics to IDM, from Ambient to Glitch, up to Contemporary Classic.
