La Taquinerie is starting a new residency, every Thursday night at the Gore! The programme will feature the three resident DJs of the collective: Aérienne, Juste S and Maemm, as well as occasional talented guests. What to expect musically? A lot of techno, minimalist, oldschool, mental sometimes trippy, sometimes industrial, sometimes broken, with Berlin minimal influences, Detroit groove, with a few touches of Chicago house - a declaration of love to the genre.

Catartsis - aka Mathieu Bonnafous - is a Paris based artist. Sound engineer as a
profession, passionates by sound sculpture, he confronts in his productions organic
sounds that our industrial and natural environment provides us. The research of rhythm
and peculiar textures through the practice of Field Recording is at the foundation of his
work and allow him to create some atypical sound works. He has released on several
labels such as « ygam » -which he co-manages alongside Ōtone-, Obscuur and Abyss
Recordings. More recently, he created with Pablo Diserens the publishing platform and
label « forms of minutiae » which focuses on electroacoustic music, sound ecologies
and visual art.
