We’re ecstatic to announce that Icarus will be headlining our next London event on 29th July. It’s been a long, hard-earned road to success for Icarus, the Bristol-based duo made up of
brothers Tom and Ian Griffiths. Naturally taking to instruments at a young age, much of their teenage years were spent playing in various punk, rock and funk bands, but it wasn’t long before their attentions moved towards electronic music.
Icarus’ all-encompassing journey through the outer realms of electronic music was rewarded when they signed to Pete Tong’s iconic FFRR imprint in 2015. The duo released a steady stream of head-turning music, constantly refining and developing their signature sound that sits at the intersection of emotionally tuned, melodic electronica and deep, infectiously danceable house music.
Throughout their journey, DJ performances have always been an equally intrinsic part of Icarus. From humble beginnings playing at Subsoul parties across the UK to delving into the world of Inheadline tours, playing renowned festivals like Parklife and life-affirming shows in Ibiza, these sets have been crucial in facilitating the boys’ ascent through the ranks.
A slew of fan-favourite tracks has helped the boys embark on a sharp rise to the top of UK dance music, cultivating a dedicated following in the process. With hits including ‘October’ and ‘Sirens’, the duo have garnered over 181 million streams worldwide, whilst also enjoying huge support at BBC Radio 1 including 9 ‘Hottest Records’, 2 Essential New Tunes, a Mini-Mix and an Essential Mix over the course of their career.
Supporting Icarus we also have the South African born producer and DJ Bound to Divide returning. Bound to divide is an innovative DJ and producer known for his fusion of deep house, tech house, and melodic techno. With intricate melodies and hypnotic rhythms, he creates captivating sonic journeys that resonate with listeners. Bound to Divide's productions are on the rise, with over 230k active monthly listeners on Spotify, a remix of his track ‘Coming Home’ amassing over 5.7 million streams, and 1.7 million streams on his original production ‘Wait for You’.
We are also excited to announce additional support by Manchester based musician Yeadon. Yeadon is a rising star in the world of electronic music. With a unique blend of progressive house, techno, and melodic beats, Yeadon's sets are known for their infectious energy and mesmerising rhythms. Having recently surpassed over 1M Spotify listens on his track ‘Face The Sun’ he is no doubt on our list as one to watch.
Also supporting will be OSSIA residents Elandez 23 and Deaders, as well as our latest DJ competition winner Blank Page.

All tickets to the event have a 4pm final entry. All ticket holders must ensure they are in line by this time.
Please note that if you are a ticket holder to this event you will also have access to Brixton Jamms night time party taking place from 10pm to 4am.
