- Sunny Side Up X Carpets & Snares Showcase We are rolling into this year on a high gear. For 2023, a few bars will be raised. Big collaborations with prominent entities from different European circuits have been sealed, shining a beacon on the Maltese clubbing scene and radiating out the SSU Vibe to all likeminded party goers all around Europe. Starting with our friends from Portugal – Carpets & Snares Records. Carpet & Snares Records is an essential hub for dance music culture in Portugal. Starting in Lisbon in 2014 as a physical record shop, it has since grown to include an online store (shop.carpetandsnares.com), an events series, a vinyl distribution with its own in-house family of labels, a publishing company, and a DJ/music studio. Headlining this event together with SSU homeboys UJ/DV are: • Jorge Caiado – Head honcho at Carpet & Snares records. • Brawther – Currently residing in Lisbon and a very good friend to both C & S and SSU respectively. Both artists are at the top of their game. We’ve heard them both recently and expect nothing less than exquisite bangers which will set the tone to what’s to come for SSU in 2023!
