Introducing Hot Damn! The newest disco and boogie party to hit San Francisco.
The second-ever edition will be taking place at Slate Bar in the Mission neighborhood. Expect an eclectic smorgasbord of music percolating disco from all over the world.
We got three fine selectors on the lineup who you can trust to guide on this boogielicious journey that you won't wanna miss.

Moto Tembo: Curator of Jamz
He is a House DJ/Producer. He fell in love with music before he could walk and never stopped loving it. Over the years this love has brought him to many different genres and performing techniques. His breadth and appreciation for music in all forms has allowed him to create a unique musical concoction in his original tracks and sets. He cooks up funky bass lines, sultry synths, soul, hip-hop, funk, and disco into a delicious house cocktail that always fires up the dance floor.
Jaage: Currently in his DJ 2.0 era, this mixing maestro is on a mission to play every great disco and/or boogie song from every country in the world. Make sure to bring your passports when you dance to his tunes. His sets like to galivante from Ghanian highlife to Italodisco to Japanese city pop. You'll be having Shazam open the whole time during his set.
J. Medina (Bay Area Disco): Born in Brooklyn raised outside of Manhattan in Hudson County, NJ. Hip-hop and Spanish music was always blasting in the streets, in the bodegas and at the house parties. Influenced by the culture and sounds that surrounded him everyday, it was inevitable that he would part-take in music himself. Classic house and dance music of the 90’s laid the foundation while hitting up underground and after parties influenced him on his current style. J. Medina likes to take his listeners on a journey that is made up of disco, soul, classic, deep and disco house all combined........simply provides “beats to keep you moving!”
