British electronic music producer and composer Chris Clark has been active since the early 2000s, releasing several albums and EPs, including on the legendary British indie label Warp Records. Although his style cannot be captured, it is usually described as a blend of IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), glitch and experimental electronic elements from techno, ambient and classical music. Throughout his career, Clark has received rave reviews for his albums. Some notable releases include 'Clarence Park' (2001), 'Body Riddle' (2006), 'Totems Flare' (2009), 'Iradelphic' (2012), 'Clark' (2014), 'Death Peak' (2017) and 'Playground In A Lake' (2021). Each album demonstrates the ability to create immersive, sonic landscapes that range from haunting, atmospheric and energetic. This year, he released his studio album called 'Sus Dog' on his own label Throttle Records, focusing more on vocally-led tracks, with his own voice as the main element. As this was new territory, Clark asked for help; thus, the record was accompanied and co-produced by Thom Yorke, who provides vocals and bass on the track 'Medicine'. Clark brings an accessible and danceable sound for his show on Wednesday 8 November.
