Some ten years after its last outings here, Geoff Oakes' fabled label and party series Renaissance returns to Ibiza Town. In 2023, it has found home at Club Chinois.
After pulling the crowds in over Easter, Renaissance is invited back for two further club takeovers. With Renaissance's nods to the classical arts and Club Chinois' striking colonial-era Shanghai architecture, the two entities go hand-in-hand to create a masterpiece of a night.
Championing cutting-edge Progressive House and Melodic Techno, the sound of Renaissance may have evolved down the years, yet it still remains true to the emotive, classical sound with which it originally made its name.
Many decades ago, its acclaimed mix compilations helped establish the careers of Sasha and John Digweed. In the present day, it has assembled a new roster of contemporary affiliated artists.
After Denis Horvat and Trikk played the first party, Sébastien Léger, Frankey & Sandrino and Sasha Carassi are scheduled with support again coming from Clint Lee.
Renaissance returns on Friday 12 May and Wednesday 31 May.
