Dive headfirst into Copenhagen's dynamic electronic music scene at this edition of RA Community Connections (RA CC). RA CC is a global initiative that champions local voices, connecting the dots between collectives, venues and radio stations in a celebration of electronic music's global diversity.
Our venue is Øen, a hub of creative energy located in the cultural quarter of Nørrebro. Known for its industrial aesthetics and cozy interior, Øen serves as an intersection of diverse sounds and minds, mirroring the vibrancy of the city's music community.
In collaboration with this event is Proton Records, a bastion of Copenhagen's electronic music scene. More than just a record store, Proton has a reputation for nurturing emerging talents at their in-house agency and pushing sonic boundaries, which is what makes their pop-up record sale at Øen such an anticipated event. Expect an array of records that tell a rich story of the city's musical lineage and current explorations.
Adding another layer to this gathering is Drift Radio. While only recently established, the station has quickly become a pivotal platform for the promotion and propagation of Copenhagen's innovative sounds. For this event, they will be transmitting live, amplifying the energy of Øen to listeners far and wide.
