Come celebrate deep, soulful, and afro house for our first excursion into South St. Pete's historic Deuces neighborhood at a new location, The Catalyst's funky outdoor space. We can not be more excited to introduce this fitting and perfect home for these sounds with another popup patio party featuring LA by way of Germany's Lars Behrenroth of the internationally renowned Deeper Shades of House radio show and label. Behrenroth has played at world renowned clubs like Djoon (Paris), DEEP (LA), Stereo (Montreal), The EndUp (San Fran) and more, including regular appearances in Miami, Detroit, and Atlanta as well as internationally in Tokyo, London, Berlin, Tisno, and Joburg. His productions have been released by labels like Freerange, Compost, Sonar Kollektiv, and others with remixes for Atjazz, Black Coffee, Beyonce, Robert Owens, Arnold Jarvis, and more. With a large and devoted South African fan base, Behrenroth has headlined events all over the country alongside Culoe De Song, Osunlade, Atjazz, Charles Webster, and Jimpster, to mention only a few, also receiving the South African Dance Music Awards for Best International DJ in 2017 and the BEMBE DJ Awards for Best Radio Show. One of the top music podcasts, DSOH reaches hundreds of thousands each month on over 20 radio stations worldwide. He'll be joined for this open air patio party by OHC resident Austen van der Bleek and Tampa's own House of Soul radio show host on WMNF 88.5FM, John Velez.
