We're back at Mood Ring for Thursday dance therapy! We’re blessed to have another international visit who’s sound we’re obsessed with — Berlin-based 131bpm. On the bill we also have Brooklyn favorite Rose Kourts and yours truly, resident Meilgaarden.

131bpm is a dancefloor trouble maker. Constantly evolving musically, he is making a name for himself as a DJ and producer known for his signature booty boppin, back breaking bouncey Rhythms. Influenced by various music sub-genres like vocal house, Detroit classic electro-breaks, 90s progressive and even Latin music, his sets are always sweaty and sexy, scattered with catchy basslines, nasty vocals and bouncy percussions.

Rose Kourts is a Brooklyn-based DJ, radio host, and organizer known for fusing musical styles and influences with a signature touch and a buoyant energy that makes any and every room pop. She has quickly established herself as one of the best and brightest of NY's next generation, electrifying dance floors and airwaves alike with dynamic selections that reflect deep digging sensibilities and a love and respect for the underground. Her sonic fusions bloom into soulful warmth as easily as tense menace, and she wields this versatility with a philosophy of fun and a command of groove that extend to her monthly Lot Radio resident show GEMS, her work as a co-founder and resident of DIY renegade party Sweet Kicks, and as the head of local club night NOW.
