thomaas banks is the latest artistic incarnation of uk born, la based, dj and electronic music producer thomas coveney, previously known for his lush production work as one half of .
thomaas banks specialises in a darker side of techno, industrial & electronica, inspired by classic ebm and horror soundtracks, his sound is unique, with the majority of his sounds created from scratch rather than being sampled or ‘in the box’.
over the last two years he’s used the tb alias to remix (atlantic), (virgin emi), (parlophone), (roche) and (one half) and (nein) (roam) and released his own version of classic 80’s video game soundtrack ’speedball’ via owsla’s nest imprint. he now launches his own label, sinahti to expand on this and showcase some of this darkness.
2019’s necare disko ep is his first original release.
