After the celebration of the first DISCO DARKO anniversary this spring, we are throwing a few events with the participation of foreign guests. On June 16, PLETNEV from the premium club Opium in Vilnius will join our residents behind decks.
Alex Pletnev is DJ and producer, the resident DJ at the renowned Opium Club in Vilnius. Alex, also known as Ponty Mython, was a past participant in the RBMA academy. He is an established international DJ who’s playing across Europe in its best funhouses & festivals: Roxy Club (Paris), Razzmatazz (Bcn), Renate (Berlin), Trans Musicales festival (Rennes) and many-many others. Alex has released successful records on labels such as Meda Fury, SZE (Secretsundaze sub-label), Needs, KUMP, and Le Temps Perdu. In early 2023, two trendsetting labels - Echocentric and RAND - teamed up to release Alex's hit record "And You Never Come Back." The record features four well-crafted house tunes with a progressive flavour. Next, Alex will release an EP on Linale Records, a London-based label, in July 2023.
