- Join us at the beautiful Biscuit Factory in Leith for an opening night Arty Party with music, performance and DJs as well as food trucks, projection art and good vibes! Featuring music from electronic producer, DJ, and composer maniatrix , sound artist, songwriter, and performer .paperman, as well as drag performances from hostess of Tryde & Tested, Alicia Tryde, drag king and duke of destruction, Guy Liner, and party tunes from local legends Femmergy. Over three days from 30 June to 2 July, the festival will encompass performance art, live music, street poetry, exhibitions, experimental sound, short films, art installations, DJs and more. This year’s theme, Outside the Box, is a nod to trying new things, shaking up routine, and celebrating the melting pot that is Leith’s unique venues and creative scene. LeithLate began as a one-night celebration of Leith in 2011. Operating as an unincorporated association with a voluntary committee for eight years, LeithLate transitioned into a charity in 2019.
