Loosekaboose pride's itself on supporting the crème dela crème of Australian IDM artists, that is why we are very proud to present one Australia’s finest electronic music producers, Jamie Stevens! along-side Pinksilver label boss Markojux, performing Live for the first time in Sydney.
With 15 years in the business, Jamie still maintains an uncompromising approach to production and his music career in general, a career in which he has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success. As the founding member of 'Infusion', Jamie has received two ARIA awards (the highest accolade given in the Australian music industry) and renowned website 'Resident Advisor' ranked their 2005 studio effort "Six Feet Above Yesterday" as the 32nd best electronic album of the decade. Jamie has remixed music for Booka Shade (Get Physical), John Digweed (Bedrock) and Chris Fortier (Fade) amongst a host of others which have earned praise from contemporary stalwarts Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Danny Howells and Thomas Schumacher. Jamie also regularly appears on seminal radio shows BBC1's 'Essential Mix' and John Digweed's 'Transitions'.
Markojux, another Melb based guest, is one of the pioneers behind Melbourne record label Pinksilver Music, a label dedicated to releasing avant-garde electronic music. Markojux's productions released on Haul, Snubb and his own label Pinksilver, bring together a mixture of deep techno & isolated grooves that aim to produce post-modernistic music to create emotion through sound, scape and reduction. Mmmmm....
Support on the night includes three of the Loosekabooses residents Trinity, Claire Morgan and Jay Smalls.
