We are delighted to bring one of our favorite DJs, one of the most talented of our generation, Bunker resident and seasoned party killer, Derek Plaslaiko.
Derek Plaslaiko is simply the dog's bollocks.
Having cut his techno teeth in Detroit-yes Carl Craig had him play the first DEMF-he is now resident at NYC's premier and world-renowned techno party, the Bunker. In demand all over the planet, Derek's destroyed dancefloors and afterparties from Tokyo to Berlin, from Queens to BK, from Minnessotan acid country to interdimensional Detroit's No Way Back... on Saturday the 19th, he's with us at the Good Life.
The consummate professional, Derek's musical skills are exceeded only by his amazing human nature. We-and with good reason, practically the whole techno universe-love Derek, and if you don't already, come down to the Good Life come June 19th, and your ass and ears will thank you, before he drops bass twice.
So amped after such an amazing Detroit Techno festival, we had to keep it burning.... this is why Derek had to play our post-DEMF Smackdown.
We are excited to have two floors going for the first time at the Good Life.
Downstairs in the basement, the sound will bang and the bang will be techno. Mark Ingram, our Glaswegian ace in the rabbit hole, will get shit popping before vinyl stalker Alex from Queens drops the velvet hammer and lights the techno fire that Mr. Plaslaiko will douse with kerosene.
Lets not forget upstairs, where we'll be getting our disco and house on. Caseroc's legendary beantown rep as a house music don of the first order is undisputed. You might know disco devil Brenden Wesley and if you don't where the hell you been these last few ? And Dave Wagz, erstwhile Axis resident and a brilliant dj whose selection is only surpassed by mixing skills that are tighter than a baby's @#$%^ is a hidden gem - don' be surprised if your girl by accident calls you Dave later that night.
Anything is possible with this crew in the house. ANYTHING.
