Welcome, our dancefloor royals, to the queerdom of Royal Highness! Prepare to laugh, dance, and revel in absurdity, knowing that your mere presence in Royal Highness is a radical act of weird dancing and hearing absurd sounds.
When you are lost in the daytime hours of Saturday thinking whether you have to start a pre-party or continue with an after hours, we warmly welcome all dancing queers and queens for a day time dance marathon: from 10am to 8pm on July 8, Saturday at Fitzroy.
Royal Highness does not aim for a safe sound, but more for an intentional cacophony: fast transitions, unconventional sounds, stimulating vocals, bleeps, crunches, provoking samples and hypnotising drums.
