- hyaltee is a producer and DJ from Kópavogur, Iceland, based in Berlin. He is a resident DJ of the collective State of Emergency (@s.o.e.collective). His musical journey started with playing drums when he was 14 years old. Since then he has played in countless bands ranging from progressive death metal to alternative electronica. From studying drums and producing music he found inspiration to move to Berlin to strive for a more personal career in music production and on that path he picked up DJing and has been doing so for 2 years seriously, joining a techno collective. Hosting and organizing parties with the collective and playing in various other gigs, he’s slowly chiseling out his personal and unique sound. With a strong focus on rhythm, groove and articulation supported expressive and harmonies he plays and produces whatever comes to him naturally.
