For our upcoming summer gathering we return to Amsterdam, touching ground for a night at our beloved audiophile basement underneath the Volkshotel. Needless to say that our spirits are buoyant after our sold out label release party last year.
Making appearance on our return are 2 Dutch favorites that will collide for a long awaited back-2-back. Ivano Tetelepta is known for his incomprehensible gangster grooves in both his DJ-sets and productions. Don’t break a leg on Iv’s funk: coming from a B-boy background, he is always up for something frisky and twisty. Tetelepta will be joined by Utrecht’s wonderwoman Luna Ludmila, who has been on our wishlist for quite some time. Luna has seen an amazing development in recent years, releasing various EP’s and playing shows at venues and festivals like De School, Awakenings, Tresor and Shelter. Her style, which finds itself shifting between house and techno is seductively hypnotic and ever bouncy thanks to it’s quivering dubby basslines.
Openingset will be provided by one of Amsterdams freshest deep-diggers and all-round nice guy: Alèn. His first show for us a bit more then a year ago became our favorite recording in recent times, blessing everybody who gives it a listen with some ultra-vibey rollers; perfect to get any soggy, hot-summer night started.
Late night, early Sunday-morning shakers will be carefully selected by our resident and label frontman Doris Nicholas; ever rhythmiccaly groovy and tripping profusely.
