For the love of house, La Mania dedicates a whole night to the american label Guesthouse Music, starring Gramophonedzie and DJ Mes. The musical fun is scheduled for Saturday, 24th of July.
The revelation of Chicago's sound, comes surprisingly from Balkans. Marko Milicevici aka Gramophonedzie, is born in Belgrade and has 15 years of DJing do far. The official debut happened 10 years ago, when he was selected to take part of RedBull Music Academy. His distinguished talent brought him the admiration and lots of gigs in UK, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia,Romania,Belgium, Portugal and Macedonia. In 2007 he began making music and his biggest hit is "Why don't you" released at Guesthouse Music.
Dj Mes, the creator of Guesthouse Music, returns to Romania after the craziness of the 1st of May celebration. Jason Sutton,cause this is his real name,comes from San Francisco and he founded the label in 2005. In an era dominated by digital labels, Dj Mes is determined not to let the musical industry tendencies to change his taste for releasing on vinyl. At this time, Guesthouse is well known for the quality of the fresh and funky productions, coming from artist such as: DJ Sneak , Chris Simmonds, JT Donaldson, 1200 Warriors, Cosy Creatures, DeMarkus Lewis, The Sound Republic, Jay West, Tommy Largo,to name but a few.
