On Sunday September 10th we are embarking on the third edition of MINIM:
MINIM #3 Sunday Matinée @ Doka Amsterdam
After our first two great editions in the Recycle Lounge Gallery Club and the Summerfest at De Japanner Strandeiland, this time we settle down at a very special location for us. The Amsterdam DoKa opened its doors exactly a decade ago in August 2013 and has always remained true to its goal of offering emerging organisers a stage. And with huge success. It has remained one of the best programmed venues in Amsterdam.
Without ever making any concessions to its underground image and with perhaps the best sound system and acoustics in Amsterdam, it is still a place where everyone feels welcome and both visitors and DJs experience unforgettable evenings.
At MINM our mission has been to connect minimal artists and styles from all over the world with that of Amsterdam. That's why MINIM is very proud to host a Sunday Matinée with the upcoming artist Cheryl, the energetic Amsterdam minimal wave-maker Cobyn and MINIM's first international booking, Dragutesku. Dragutesku is one of the most talented and skilled producers and sound engineers in the Rominimal landscape. From club shaking sets to very original albums such as his much acclaimed Dualism LP, his ability to create a unique atmosphere that inspires energetic and captivating dancing has earned him a well-deserved reputation as one of Romania's most outstanding DJs. He has established himself as a true original, with a sound that is both unmistakably his own and universally appealing. We at MINIM have been a huge fan of his over the past years, and we are thrilled for him to play an extended set at our Matinee on Sunday the 10th of September.
As a crew, with these artists, their fans and followers, our loyal ravers, the (ro)minimal enthusiasts, we are very much looking forward to making another great edition on Sunday September 10, this time from 15.00 - 22.00 in the DoKa !
