His work combines an intimate and timeless style of R&B with a booming yet intricate production style that is all his own. With his debut album Glass Lit Dream, he created a record full of luminous R&B with gospel undertones and experimental electronics, which he recorded in his Brooklyn flat and self-distributed through word of mouth.
