On October 19th, telltale makes it’s debut at The Lion & Lamb with an all-star, London based lineup. Join us at the pub for a night of dancing with the locals.
Tom Jarmey (aka Ocean Stirs and one half of Mother Of Pearls) returns to Lion & Lamb. After a variety of releases on a string of notable labels such as Lobster Theremin, Banoffee Pies, Holding Hands & Dansu Discs. Tom’s eclectic productions and mixes are something to take note of, ranging from breaks, through house into Drum and Bass.
Taking centre stage are Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers forming the duo, Kassian - An exploration in House and Electronica which was formed officially in 2019. The title track off’ve their debut EP, ‘The Premise’, on Dam Swindle’s Heist Recordings was nominated as Track Of The Year at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards. The pair have since began a lasting relationship with legendary London record label and store Phonica Records and now are pushing their sound through their own imprint ‘Faux Poly’, established in 2022, as a heavier more hardware focused outlet for themselves and other artists. With support from Ben UFO and many other critically acclaimed artists, this duo presents some serious firepower in the booth.
We open at 6pm with telltale residents kicking things off and enjoying a couple cold ones. Come hang.
