Kingston’s Stockade District will be transformed into the Hudson Valley’s premier FREE Autumnal block party taking place on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Rain or shine. Local business, spectacular entertainment, and small craft vender lovingly produced by partners and organizers of the now legendary annual Catskills Roller Disco.
Returning this year, the “glitter will flitter” at twilight on North Front Street is orchestrated by the sparkle-glam House of Yes, an internationally recognized, performance-fueled nightclub based in Bushwick, Brooklyn mastered by co-founder and creative director Kai Burke. Since opening in 2015 HOY has become a destination for creative culture and outrageous dance parties that spark joy and inspire self-expression.
Wolf + Lamb are an international DJ duo comprised of Hudson Modern founder Zev Eisenberg and his 25-year music collaborator, Baby Prince (Milan, NY). Producers and founders of three prolific record labels with over 150 records released in the last 20 years. Their underground Williamsburg nightclub The Marcy Hotel was a legendary art space that launched more than 25 artists, many of whom underpin the global dance scene today. Locals to the Hudson Valley, they bring a heartfelt blend of house, disco and everything dance in between.
Closing the night, following his international tour returns the legendary DJ Tedd Patterson (Hudson, NY). Tedd is renowned worldwide for a signature sound that incorporates an intoxicating blend of contemporary and classic soulful dance music styles. Tedd Patterson spins regularly at Battle Hymn in NYC, House of Yes in Brooklyn, and he’s a favorite guest with Horse Meat Disco and recently held court at the infamous Berghain Panorama Bar, Berlin.
All this on legendary Catskill sound system designer Thomas Russo of White Rabbit Audio’s custom white rigs that amplify the beats and tunes through the canyon of North Front Street. As dusk sets, magical lighting will illuminate North Front Street by Lighthearted Lighting Design.
