DANIËL ENGLISCH
Daniel Englisch aka Diablo (NL) - Born and raised in Amsterdam - has an
original and artistic approach to the variety of styles he combines in his music,
live and dj sets. In 2020 he celebrated his 30th anniversary as a dj, keeping the
the early 90ʼs vibe alive, where house music was not bound to the cages we are
in today, still radiating the warm vibes of those early beginnings. He combines
styles like acid, house, electro and techno, albeit always with his own
recognisable sound.
Besides creating music, mixing, mastering and performing,
he started his own Techno label in 2009 called Defuse Records together with
Ziv Avriel, after organising many parties together in clubs like the Mazzo in the
late 90ʼs. Theyʼve build up a roster of great national and international artists for
the label, both famous and the more obscure, but always top notch. For the
deeper shades of House Music, Daniel runs Cosmic Disco Records together
with Willem de Poorter and In 2022 Groom Lake Universal came into existence
for his all encompassing vision on electronic music, sprang from the artist
agency Groom Lake Agents. He loves cooperating with his peers from all over
the world, mostly in his home studio in the heart of Amsterdam. This happens
mostly while those artists are on tour through Europe or during the yearly
returning ADE events. One of those projects is his hip hop / house / techno
crossover with Toni Sauna (aka Anthony Mills) on vocals and they recently
released their first album Nonagon on Groom Lake Universal with remixes from
Dave Angel, E110101, Re:Axis, Kid Culture and many more great musical souls.
Those 30+ years flew by, while there is still so much to discover, harmonise and
create, another 30 please!

COMPOUND RHYTHM
The journey into electronic music started in 2004 when Compound Rhythm bought his first turntables, during that time he got inspired by the dutch trance dj’s. After a few years of playing trance his interest shifted to deep-house, but in 2015 he found the style that suits him the most Techno. Eventually Compound Rhythm got the chance to host his weekly radio show ‘Good Times Radio’ every Monday at Amsterdams Most Wanted. Even after 5 years of hosting the radioshow it’s still a pleasure for him to play every Monday.
In 2019 another step was taken, becoming a resident at EAST Techno Collective. EAST Techno Collective is organized every Thursday and started in Club Panama Amsterdam, from 2022 on the party is organized at Club NL Amsterdam. A highlight for Compound Rhythm was making his debut in the legendary club Paradiso Amsterdam during EAST Techno Collective XL in the summer 2022! Techno music has become part of Compound Rhythm's life.

DJ SCHÜLZE
Martin Gebauer aka DJ Schülze was born in southern Germany. At the age of 14 he became familiar with electronic music of the time.DJ Schülze got his first inspiration from Depeche Mode, who played a big role with industrial sounds. Electronic music quickly gained momentum, especially in the 80s. Inspired by the local DJs, DJ Schülze decided to use his own, then still analog, equipment, which consisted of a 5-channel Vivanco mixer MX740 and 2 Technics drives. At the age of 16, DJ Schülze played at so-called “basement parties” in old buildings with friends. Actually, this was just the beginning.
Related to working reasons, Schülze was initially forced to take a break. Meanwhile, the techno scene in Germany became increasingly popular. New artists like Sven Väth, Gary-D., Karotte, Westbam and Torsten Fenslau dominated the club scene. Schülze found further inspiration in the big techno cities of Hamburg (Front, Tunnel), Frankfurt (Omen, Dorian Gray) and Berlin (Tresor, E-Werk). The curiosity about music production was then awakened and DJ Schülze had his first experiences with producing techno on the computer. Then everything happened extremely quickly and the development of computers made big steps. Techno was fully developed in Germany and respected as a serious genre.
Today, in addition to DJing, DJ Schülze is absolutely addicted with producing electronic music. He produces his tracks with Ableton Live 11, Push 2, Korg opsix and the Serum VST. The focus is also set on the almost daily training for sound design. DJ Schülze has already released 68 tracks on various online stores in just 3 years. DJ Schülze is able to combine melodic styles with driven techno. His years of experience in electronic music and his intense feelings of fascinating techno are reflected in his sets. His unbeaten love for playing driving techno in the peaktime, driven and cosmic techno styles is still unbroken and incomparable today.
