In a bid to pick up the highly successful launch of Sankeys new ‘Carnival’ concept and take it to the next level, Disco Electronica have enlisted the services of one dance music’s hottest properties, Reboot to bring you what promises to be an epic, electronic music showcase.
Reboot, who’s real name is Frank Heinrich started his musical journey at the age of six where after moving to Frankfurt, he began a classical music education and picked up a range of instruments from the melodica and accordion to organs and keyboards. Little did he know at that this was the first steps of a musical heritage that would span house, techno, world music and jazz, and would lead to a range of exceptional releases on such labels as Below, Cadenza and Cocoon, Defected and a highly acclaimed mix CD on Cecille recordings.
Alongside his undeniable production talents, its his explosive live show and a DJ career that’s more versatile than many imagine, that has earned Reboot every inch of his reputation as a true musical genius. So much so, Frank is spearheading what others are calling the new sound of Frankfurt, alongside friends like Nick Curly, Johnny D, Chris Tietjen, Robert Dietz and Markus Fix.
Reboot the DJ is a regular fixture on the electronic music scene starring everywhere from Cocoon Club, & Panorama Bar in Europe to Womb in Tokyo, D Edge in Brazil, all whilst being a key player in Luciano’s dynamic Æther project, and holding down an Ibizan residency for Cadenza at Pacha & Ushuaia.
Supporting Reboot in what is looking like one of the events of the summer is another German export, up and coming DJ Christopher Dahm, who will showcase the talents that have won him a residency at Sven Vath’s Cocoon club.
However don’t think its just an all German affair as the head’s of the Disco Electronica family, OD Muzique bring their unmistakable tech house talents to Sankeys basement, bringing in the early hours to the DE faithful like only they know how.
On Saturday 17th July, the sounds of the summer arrive to the worlds number one club, make sure your not left in the dark….
