Fakear: Elektronische Musik als Reise ohne Ziel, aber immer Richtung Zukunft.
Der französische Musiker, Beatmaker und Produzent Fakear, alias Theo Le Vigoureux, ist der hellste Stern einer immer noch jungen Welle elektronischer Musik aus Frankreich. Irgendwo zwischen Flume, Kaytranada, Mount Kimbie, Bonobo und Daft Punk angesiedelt, eignet sich seine Musik sowohl für die Tanzfläche als auch für das Hören unter dem Sternenhimmel: instinktiv und organisch, cineastisch schwelgend und konkret zugleich.
Fakear hat 2015 das Pariser Olympia ausverkauft und erst danach sein Debütalbum (Animal) vorgelegt, mit dem er Goldstatus erreichte. Mit "La Lune Rousse" gelang ihm ein weltweiter Hit, dem Auftritte mit M.I.A und Odesza sowie eine Welttournee mit Bonobo folgten. Eine Reise, die mit der Veröffentlichung einer Reihe von EPs begann (Morning In Japan und Dark Lands 2013, Sauvage 2014, Asakusa 2015), mit denen er eine erste eigene Sound-Identität schmiedete, indem er britischen Post-Dubstep elegant mit orientalischen Einflüssen vermischte. Mittlerweile sind neben zahlreichen EPs, Remixen und Kollaborationen fünf Alben entstanden.
Fakear hat sich mit seinen Veröffentlichungen nie musikalischen Moden unterworfen und bewiesen, dass Beatmaking in der Popkultur aufgehen kann, ohne Identität und Charakter zu verlieren.

A pioneer who sold out the legendary Olympia in Paris in 2015 and only then presented his first album (Animal), which achieved gold status. With the song "La Lune Rousse", he scored a global hit that took him around the world. He played alongside M.I.A. and Odesza, as well as a world tour with Bonobo.
A wild journey that began with the release of a series of EPs (Morning In Japan and Dark Lands in 2013, Sauvage in 2014, Asakusa in 2015), with which he forged a strong sonic identity, elegantly mixing British post-dubstep and oriental influences. In the meantime, five albums have been produced, as well as many EPs, remixes and collaborations.
Fakear proves that beatmaking can merge with pop culture without losing its identity and character. His sound is at home on the dance floor as well as under the stars: instinctive and organic, cinematic and dreamy at the same time.
