A veteran of the industry, his forays into the genres of house and breaks take the listener on an auditory journey unlike any other. Expect more of the same good tunes, infectious grooves and banging drums that you folks all know and love. What better venue to play host to Playground than the retro - inspired chic decor of The Projector, where everything old is gold. DJ BIOS PRIMER Having experienced Singapore clubbing’s heyday in the late 90s and early 2000s, both as a punter and a DJ, Weili aka Primer’s love for dance music never waned. Keen to share his music, he flits between DJ and producer effortlessly, occasionally working on custom edits, remixes and his own tracks to share on the dance floor. Journeying through a myriad of genres from deep house to techno, he firmly believes that it’s the groove (and drums drums drums!) that keep people dancing With more than 20 years of experience behind the decks, Weili has played in a plethora of venues, both local and overseas, over the years from Nox, Hideout, Velvet Underground, Ministry of Sound to Zouk (KL) and Barcode (Taipei). ABERY Abery is a pioneer in Singapore's electronic music scene, tracing his DJ journey back to the city-state's early electronic music days. His sets, ranging from deep house and tech house to breaks and techno, embody the essence of the underground. With a steadfast commitment to his artistic vision, Abery has cultivated a distinctive and peerless style of DJing. ARTOFEON Yang began his love for electronic music during the early 1990s, Fueling his passion by buying imported records From Singaporean indie stores like Roxy Records and Valentine Music Center, he soon dived into turntables, playing progressive house/ Trance / Techno and joined his friend Andy’s record shop, Hertz Records, a mainstay of the local club scene then. After working for years in a commercial music studio, Yang made a switch and thought he has hung up his gear for good. Ten years later, he decided to clean the dust off his old turntables and vinyls.
