After some real cool parties with Alex Kassian and Tornado Wallace, we head back to our 300 person private warehouse space next to Tottenham Hale station with legendary Florence based DJ and innovator Miki aka The Dolphin joining Pato from Hidden Sounds, HENRY from People & Places Records and Utopia resident Alex Bradley, for a night chasing memories of a ethereal rave yesteryear.
Trancendental other worldly utopian dream dance music taking in the purest of Trancey Techno, Prog House, Proto Goa, Deep Groove, Spiritual Sounds and a whole lot more. The sound of Miki alongside the best London has to offer in cutting edge and retrospective dance music.
A romantic yet loose and private location, dreamy lighting, fully stocked bar, nice door staff, sweet crowd, solid Function One system and a late license.
We take things back to the Italian Rave scene of the early and mid 90s for a night to remember.

MIKI (MAJOR HYPNOTIC KEY INSTITUTE)
Never has a guest DJ suited the ethos of The Utopia Project better than Miki, a key figure in Florence’s 90s prog house and trance scene as a resident of club 'Imperiale' and rave 'Insomnia'. His forward-thinking productions on Franco Falsini's cult label Interactive Test recently reissued on Utopia Records were coined the “Sound of Tirreno” to define this unique sound, which we at Utopia describe as mystical, mythical and romantic with an anarchic and hypnotic energy to take you on a sub spiritual (almost hippy) trip into tribal and other worldly ethers, but with an appreciation of the true sounds of Chicago house and Detroit techno at its core.
Miki's production alias Major Hypnotic Key Institute encapsulates this search for a new realm in sound unique to himself and a few collaborators from the time like good friend Francesco Farfa and Falsini himself.
Not resting in their historical place Miki's current sets continue to drive ahead, mixing some of these original early 90s proto trance and progressive sounds with current and upfront club sounds and always with romance and intensity. Intellectual yes - but also fun and dance-inducing - most definitely.
Miki's quality and pure spirit as a DJ is instantly apparent, programming extended vinyl sets with passion for the art of storytelling that can be consumed by connoisseurs and passers-by alike.

Alex Pato is a co-founder and curator of the top London record shop Hidden Sounds and one of the cities' great DJs. Having cut his teeth at the back end of the Italian Rave scene many years ago before moving to London, Pato runs and DJs some of the coolest intimate parties around town like Hidden Sounds and Darktimes.
Immersed in records and alternative culture 24/7, Pato is a versatile selector with an ear for dancefloor heat and affinity for everything hypnotic, psychedelic and spacey in techno, trance and anything in between. A dark and unexpected sound - but always trippy - is Pato's trademark. We can't wait to hear what he's got in store for us this time.

HENRY (PEOPLE & PLACES)
People & Places started as a mix series 5 years ago and has been expertly dabbling in radio, events and most recently a music label. James Wilkinson and Lew Godliman who run the project and DJ under the alias ‘HENRY’ have been playing at spots in London on and off for the past 3 years with a sophisticated blend of Balearic, Nu trance, progressive other worldly delights, the right house and digger goodness. HENRY are known for their euphoric out-of-this-world music knowledge and meticulous mixing.
