Breakbeat shenanigans abound this Australia Day Weekend as the Beats Working Crew celebrate their 1-Year Anniversary. Heading into the city and up the stairs to Two Floors Up (the former Cartel), the BW faithful will be sharing their fondest memories of the many good times had over the past year as a cavalcade of Melbourne’s finest drop the phattest beats on the planet.
Spread over 2 levels, residents Hans-DC, Scotrod, Obliveus and MC Direkt will be joined by plenty of their friends throughout the night to absolutely destroy the dance floor. Appearing will be Ben Shepherd, DJ Ides, Lush, DST, Brand, Cast, Crism, The Alias, Little Evil and MC’s Brake and Rhyno.
Boasting a sound system that will shake the fillings from your teeth and décor provided by the Fine Girl Visuals this will be one humungous night so make sure you’re there. 10-7am, $8 entry ($5 guest list).
