Merging Colombian guaracha, Venezuelan raptor house, and the Afro-Dutch bubbling sound with her characteristic blend of dubwise dembow, Laura Solarte is making a stop in Belgrade as part of her seemingly endless tour. She has been covering key festivals and clubs with headline performances, displaying equal vigor whether performing solo or with her labelmates from the imprint of the moment, TraTraTrax.
With reggaeton's ascent into mainstream culture, her early production pointed to where it can go next, but Bogarte slowly became an integral part of a larger global movement (with protagonists like Nick Leon, DJ Plead and Florentino, to name a few) that is connecting the dots between niche scenes in the UK, Australia, the Middle East, Uganda, the US and Latin America, translating regional percussive traditions into propulsive club ballistics.
Belgrade’s longest standing celebration of afro-carribean and latin-inpired percussive club music is adding Kosovo's brightest, TADI, to solidify the line up even further, while an anually occuring B2B from Felonnezy & Regis is a headline show of it's own.
