  • I'm a city gworl! From Central to Prospect, Tompkins Square to Washington Square, then off to BK to Brooklyn Bridge, McGolrick, McCarren, and Maria Hernandez, I sure like to strut with my pups. With fall in the air, I’m bringing fashun to the lawns. I'm sporting my big coat, knee-high Ricks and colorful twirl made of cream! As I walk, I talk, and I'm getting ready for my next fête — a Mizz S affair featuring two sexy towns performing in New Yawk for the first time ever! I'm bringing a different kind of animal from London — a bear named *Wes Baggaley* is a self-confessed vinyl addict and has been a staple in the UK scene for 25 years, paying homage to the queer roots of club culture. Hailing from Basel is Garçon, the Amenthia Recordings boss who creates hypnotic grooves from all electronic genres, with strong roots in techno, and a singular affinity for the rhythmically dexterous landscapes that stretch beyond. Plus, Montreal’s Pascale Project and Mizz S QT Samuel Fish will slice and dice that main stage spice! And in the chill zone, I welcome T4T LUV NRG bb Kiernan Laveaux, Brooklyn’s huni Echor and Mizz S prince Henry Chow. The trio will present some of the finest dance-floor adjacent jams to your party pleasure. And with all that said, I need to continue walking down the LAWN-WAY, cuz life really is just a walk in the park. TTFN (ta-ta for now)! xoxo Mizz S :* — ⁂ Friday, November 10th: 11pm – 9am ⁂ Two Stages ⁂ Danley Sound by SubBass ⁂ Lighting Design by Michael Reyes x Cleo x Violet Flux ⁂ Flyer by Kid Kura Underground warehouse location. Address emailed to ticket holders by 9PM day of event. Wes also displays a deep appreciation for the queer roots of club culture, both in person and through the contents of his record bag. With dance music’s DNA deeply indebted to LGBTQ nightlife in the 70s and 80s, Wes spreads musical history to dancefloors with a liberal approach and a committed attitude. Taking a triumphant mix of electro, techno, funk and all the foundational genres of the community, Wes has his 25 years on the DJ circuit to thank for his endless knowledge. In 2016, widespread appreciation for his work finally boomed, and he is now seen as one of the finest selectors around. With landmark bookings at Robert Johnson, Berghain / Panorama Bar and Block 9, his name and music is embedded into the ears of dancers all around the world. (★‿★) There’s beauty in the art of teasing. To build the groove of a night slowly and piece by piece is a commonplace ideal, but not many are willing to sacrifice the early moments of gratification for a potentially more rewarding experience. Enter *Garçon:* The Basel-based music aficionado has steadily built his reputation as an expert in mood modulation. Combining hypnotic grooves from all corners of electronic music, he’s crafted a style firmly rooted in techno, with a singular affinity for the rhythmically dexterous landscapes that stretch beyond. An original resident of (now defunct) Basel institution Hinterhof, Garçon – in cooperation with ally Agonis – continues developing the Amenthia imprint’s unique sonic identity at Elysia, taking full advantage of the utilitarian space. (★‿★) *Kiernan Laveaux* is a connective energy conduit & ecstatic beat conductor from the Great Lakes. Originating from within Cleveland's multiversal electronic underground, Kiernan Laveaux materialized through the rhythms of life & her loved ones that reflect the rustbelt environment she was birthed from. Inspired by her friends, the experimentalism and joy found within midwestern electronic music, and the forces of universal chaos, she's since embarked on a lifelong journey of communicating through the motherbeat. She now exists only to channel love and understanding to dancers of open mind and spirit everywhere. (★‿★) *Pascale Project* is a singer/producer/DJ based in Montreal as well as the founder of her own label "Your Approval Isn't Needed." She’s been active in the music scene since 2008 and has released music on labels such as Planet Euphorique, Radiant Love, La Rama Records and Orange Milk. Known for her energetic DJ sets, her selections go way beyond the standard “dance du jour” flavors with some unexpected musical curveballs. You can often catch her perform at clubs in Montreal like Stereo, Datcha, SAT and Système as well as festivals, notably Piknic Electronik and Igloofest. She is also a co-founder of Shift Radio; a community web radio operating out of Montreal. (★‿★) *Echor* (Danny Roche), is a DJ and photographer based in Brooklyn. Never sticking to a singular emotion, his sets flow between different sounds and moods to ensure the dance floor is always engaged. Before venturing into the realm of dance music, he cultivated a deep passion for downtempo and ambient music. His fascination with these genres was ignited by his first encounter with "The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld." Through his "Chill Your Head" mix series, Danny takes his audience on a captivating, multi-genre sonic journey, creating a space for introspective, dream-like experiences. ▲ ETIQUETTE ▲ Mizz Softee is a warm, welcoming space for all gender, racial, ethnic, sexual, age identities.
