渋谷最大のライブハウスSpotify O-EASTとDJバー東間屋が送るMIDNIGHT EASTに、ドイツ出身の奇才Acid Pauliが登場する。
Acid PauliことMartin Gretschmannは、’90年代半ばよりConsole名義やバンドThe Notwistのリーダーとして活動してきたベテランであり、Console名義ではあのBjörkのリミックスも手がけている。2012年にダンスフロアにフォーカスしたプロジェクトAcid Pauli名義でのファーストアルバム『Mst』をNicolas Jaar主宰レーベルCrown & Sunsetから発表し、2016年にはNico Stojanと共にレーベルOuïeを設立。ここ日本では野外フェスティバルFRUEの常連としてカルト的な人気を誇っている。この夜のメインフロアにはAcid Pauliのほか、NousやAD 93といったレーベルから楽曲をリリースしながら海外でも精力的にツアーを続けるアーティストSaphire Slowsが、DJセットで登場する。
東間屋フロアには、悪魔の沼のメンバーであり、2022年6月に初のソロアルバム『A View』を発表したCOMPUMA、フロアを“眠族的”な世界へと誘うsuimin、DJユニット凸凹。の一人でありシンガーでもあるYAYA子、そして、フリーフォームかつジャンルにとらわれない柔軟な活動を続けるラッパー/トラックメイカーのKID FRESINOの4組がプレイする。尚、アートワークと東間屋のライティングは、Ginji Kimuraが担当する。

Charismatic, respected German artist Acid Pauli will be joined by Sapphire Slows, who captivates music lovers around the world on stage at MIDNIGHT EAST, one the biggest night venues in Shibuya!
MIDNIGHT EAST, a collaborative night venue between Azumaya and Spotify O-EAST, will welcome the German wizard Acid Pauli.
Martin Gretschmann, better known as Acid Pauli, released his first music as Console in 1995, and he joined the band The Notwist around the same time. (He has also remixed Björk as Console.) In 2012, he released his first album “Mst” under the dancefloor-focused project Acid Pauli on Nicolas Jaar's Crown & Sunset imprint, and in 2016 he co-founded the Ouïe label with Nico Stojan. In Japan, Gretschmann has a cult following as a regular at FRUE festival. Alongside Acid Pauli, Sapphire Slows, who has released music on labels such as Nous and AD 93 while touring around the world, will play a DJ set in the main floor.
In Azumaya, COMPUMA, a member of DJ trio Akuma No Numa and who released his first solo album “A View” in June 2022, and suimin who takes the dance floor into her 'Minzoku' world will select some good music for you. They will be joined by YAYAKO, a singer and one-half of the DJ unit 凸凹, and a rapper/trackmaker KID FRESINO, who continues his freeform, cross-genre and flexible work. The artwork and the lighting in Azumaya will be handled by Ginji Kimura.
