Gunther // Monday Edition is an influential DJ and music blogger who brings passion and versatility to the electronic music scene, both through his live performances and insightful commentary.
Gunther is a well-established and experienced DJ with a strong passion for electronic music. Starting in 1996, Gunther had many opportunities to explore the vibrant electronic music scene and develop his own style. The fact that he organized his own parties and was soon performing in legendary clubs such as Tresor, Distillery and also larger open air parties is a testament to his talent and dedication. While Gunther began his career playing techno, his interest in electronic music expanded to include other genres, indicating a willingness to experiment and explore new sounds. For a while he was also resident DJ in several clubs in his hometown and can easily play sets for a whole night. In addition Gunther is also the founder of the Monday Edition music blog. This blog quickly gained recognition and popularity for its insightful commentary and coverage of the electronic music scene. In fact, in 2009, De:Bug magazine voted Monday Edition as one of the best music websites of the year. This recognition speaks to Gunther's ability to not only curate and play electronic music but also to write about and analyze it in a thoughtful and engaging way. His passion for the genre clearly extends beyond the DJ booth and into his other creative endeavors, contributing to his overall impact and influence on the electronic music scene.
