A dynamic producer and DJ whose sonic tapestry tastefully weaves together the realms of minimal, techno, and house music, with a dash of dub influences. As an audiophile extraordinaire, Super/Polite's meticulous attention to sound quality and detail is unparalleled and translates to both his sets, and his custom speaker building. You have very likely experienced the Polite sound system on a dance floor at some point in the past few years. Get ready to embark on a sonic journey guided by a true connoisseur of sound.
Esette
With 30+ releases and an endless resume of event organization, Esette's musical prowess continues to shine a golden light on Calgary's dance music scene. Host of the swinging summer Tuesday patio party Versions, and co-owner of Calgary's Substation Recordings, Esette fuels artistic progress. Her journey, rooted in the '90s rave scene and Chicago house influence, showcases resilience. Esette co-founded Girls On Decks in 2003, promoting female voices in dance music. Witness a catalyst driving Calgary's dance music scene's ascent, bridging classic sounds with a unique flair.
Jonathan Crane
A multifaceted talent with a vast musical collection. Not only a DJ, but also a journalist and radio host, Jonathan revels in the novel, outer realms of dance music. Commonly heard creating captivating soundscapes on CJSW 90.9 during his show Thriller Bark, his sets are sonic explorations amongst the uncharted territories of the electronic music landscape.
C.B.A.D.H.D
C.B.A.D.H.D is a musical chameleon, effortlessly traversing genres, all the while infusing a distinct, darker, and heavier influence into the mix. Half of the local underground duo Petty Trespassers and co-host of Brunch Hours on CJSW 90.9; a show that showcased a delightful fusion of local talents, global producers, and underground innovators, taking casual Sunday listeners on a diverse auditory adventure.
