Founded by Darren Emerson and Jamie McHugh, this label launched in the summer of 2007 with an aim to deliver the best new music from across the globe. A Variance release must be of the highest order with immaculate production standards to ensure the labels credibility and integrity can continue to grow from strength to strength. As a result the label has already seen releases from Darren Emerson, Audio Soul Project, Tom Pooks, Perc, Harvey McKay, Jonas Kopp, Koljah and Gary Beck achieving hype and solid reviews alongside numerous plays on BBC Radio 1. The quality of variances output is reflected in the caliber of DJs who have consistently shown their support: Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Josh Wink, Slam, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, John Digweed and many more.
