  • BELL LUNGS (Glasgow) A mesmeric voice pours into your ears, atop mellotron violin, fingerpicked guitar, omnichord drones, bowed chimes, field recordings and glitchy electronics. Drawing on psychedelic, free improv and folk influences, Ceylan Hay creates subtly shifting sound worlds, imbued with a rare power live. FOOD PEOPLE (Glasgow/Nottingham) Lila Matsumoto, Greg Thomas and Matthew Hamblin are Food People. They have been making sounds together since 2018 but have been friends for much longer. They've had sounds released by Chocolate Monk, Sound Holes, Feeding Tube and GLARC. ASTRAL SOCIAL CLUB vs TERRITORIAL GOBBING (Mirfield/Leeds) Neil Campbell (also of Vibracathedral Orchestra) and Theo Gowans (the Heinous Whiner) face off on the dancefloor. A twisted kind of avant-pop banger results. OCELOCELOT (Leeds) Melanie Ó Dubhshláine has performed and composed music based in the noise, electronic, experimental and psychedelic rock genres. A long time member of Ashtray Navigations, she'll be bringing some experiments in techno to the evening.
