- New Year's Eve is a big date in every party goers social calendar and at AVA it's no exception. Who better to host part 2 of our Techno Christmas takeover/farewell to 2023 than X CLUB. The Brisbane-born, London-based duo will be joining us at Banana Block to bring in the new year with a heavy thumbing bang like only they know how to. The pair consisting of Ben Clarke and Jesse Morath delivered a relentless barrage of groove-laced techno at the Nomadic stage for their Boiler Room debut at AVA Belfast earlier this year. But these lads aren't just one trick ponies, their productions and performances show clear inspirations across trance and drum & bass too. Expect a seriously raucous set where the energy doesn't dip for a second. Just what you need to kick-start your next revolution of the sun. As always our Banana Block takeovers are not complete without some local legends to set the stage ahead of the main event. Who better than rising stars Hannah and Body Clinic to get the ball rolling for the evening's festivities? As if that wasn't enough there's the usual audio-visual overhaul to top it off in mind-blowing style. Please note our ticket prices are now all-inclusive! This means that the price you see is what you pay, the booking fee is already included in the ticket price, so you won't have to worry about any additional charges added on afterwards.
