Beneath a good natured grin and glasses akin to Clark Kent, ADMN, is a sonic superhero. With an innate knack for music and technology he has been conscientiously honing his craft since he was discovered by his mother at the age of two banging on pots and pans. Inspired by the darkest reaches of Detroit, ADMN brings next level skill and tenacity to both the studio and the stage.
His superhero-esque persona has created an air of mystery around this DJ/producer. If you tried to put ADMN's body of work into a box, you'd be hard pressed. If you'd like a peek behind the proverbial veil, just close your eyes and imagine this fantastical concoction: a nearly all original production peppered with creations from his own label, that results in what can only be described as minimal ghetto sludge.
ADMN’s productions got a jump start when he served as an audio engineer at Allure Sound Studios, where he assisted in the production of several records, including Eminem’s Recovery. In addition, ADMN leads a multifaceted life as a network engineer, musician, resident DJ at TV Lounge & label owner of his own imprint, “Infolines” with his partners Remote Viewing Party.
ADMN's notable performances include the main stage of Movement Electronic Music Festival in 2022 before Delano Smith with Richie Hawtin closing the night and #MovementAtHome on Sunday, May 24th 2020 with several streams in between for Paxahau's twitch. He has also made appearances at Paxahau’s #MicroMovement in 2021, the festival proper in 2015 and multiple appearances at Ok, Cool at TV Lounge. On top of staying busy with gigs, he maintains a consistent release schedule. Current releases include a remix for Carl Craig on Planet E recordings alongside Seth Troxler & Ataxia in July, 2023. Other releases include a contribution on the current DEQ (Detroit Electronic Quarterly) vinyl, a remix for Acid Jerks on Refuge AUS, and a collaboration with Francois Dillinger on the most recent installment of his Detroit imprint Infolines.
