Head Technician
Taking inspiration from his fascination with Brutalist construction, Head Technician exclusively uses Roland TR-606, MC-202 and TB-303 boxes plus the Roland System 100 modular synth to sketch out a slow, murky sound. Head Technician’s Zones LP hems to the shadows of the ‘floor with a furtive, noirish quality that works a treat in the right situations, whether soundtracking gaslamp-lit raves or midnight street patrols seeking out ne’erdowells and laudanum dealers.
Helen Anahita Wilson
Helen Anahita Wilson is an Oram award-winning composer, sound artist, improviser, pianist and transdisciplinary researcher working at the forefront of sonic life writing. Re-imaginings and sonic transductions form a major part of her output, exploring new ways of telling stories and sharing biological and medical information through music and sonic arts. Helen works across a broad spectrum of media from solo piano projects to live extended radio arts to plant-derived bioelectrical music.
