TOURISZT (BERLIN) -- Intersecting the familiar and otherworldly, with drone-like ambiances, cinematic scenarios and a mode of unpredictability, Touriszt's music takes on a journey-like character. Through sonic enactments of natural yet artificially performed scenarios, accompanied by programmatic voiceovers, and synaptic noises, his live sets seek situations of temporal and spatial instability - it may seem as if anything could happen at any time, while passing through another reality. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Kanal Nula (NYC) -- Kanal Nula is a solo moniker conceived by the label head of Puppy Tapes, Anti State Electronics and Mineral Resource. Upon the inception of Mineral Resource in 2020, Kanal Nula released two seminal pieces of heavy, nauseating, drone and rhythmic noise recordings before entering a 3 year hiatus. Kanal Nula then made his first public performance in June of 2022 at Carl Berners plass in Oslo. Following, he has made appearances notably in Oslo at Bunny's Garage, the UK, Den Haag NL, E-flux's Bar Laika with Puce Mary, DUST alongside Pública and Schema 7, and recently at Saras for Nick Klein’s “Bring Flowers to the Theatre”.
Kanal Nula’s return came this spring with a full length CD on Mineral Resource, followed by a UK debut, EU and US tour. In "Phase" he presents a series of evolving recordings and experiments utilizing improvisational manipulation, replicative synthesis, and live preparation of found recordings of aero and automotive systems. This series combines conspiratorial investigation and interest in the history of psycho- acoustic warfare, using blind sonic replication. Patient assembly, layering and prepared composition melts gritty, rhythmic ambient movements into chaotic moments of cut up noise, lending itself to bleak tonality. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Pod Blotz (DETROIT) -- Pod Blotz is a Modern Electronics, Abstract Techno, Rhythmic Industrial, Noise, and Experimental Music project located in Detroit. The sound is an otherworldly, cathartic mix of modular electronics, vocals, rhythmic elements, tape manipulation, metals, and field recordings. Pod Blotz has extensively toured and performed at Hospital Productions Festival, San Francisco Electronic Music Festival, Color Out of Space Festival, Yerba Beuna Center for the Arts, Berkeley Art Museum, and Contemporary Jewish Museum. This long-standing project currently has a new full-length LP on Dais Records (LA/NYC) and has released music on LIES (NYC, Paris), Chocolate Monk (UK), Nostilevo (LA), Air Texture, Conjunto Vacio ( Spain), Difficult Interactions (LA), Clan Destine Records (UK), Dungeon Taxis (NZ/NYC). //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
