We’re bringing our remix party to Sound LA Feb 14th, for a Valentine’s Night takeover.
Whether you’re breaking up, making up, single or married to the mirror ball, this is an open call for your inner romantic and fearlessly flirtatious self to celebrate love of every beautiful persuasion in a safe space for music lovers.
No cover versions or roses in plastic tubes, just exclusive remixes of the Mac with DJs Roxanne Roll and Alex Oxley. Not a tribute, but a rave and AV show that reworks the classic-rock sound of the Mac into a spectrum of electronic genres. Remixes of the hits and plenty of deep-cuts ready for the chiffon-filled dance floor.
As always, dressing up is very much encouraged. If you dig into the history of Valentine’s Day and brush off the Christian re-branding, you will find tales of the ancient Roman Festival of Lupercalia involving sacrifices, drunkenness, nakedness and beatings with animal hides all in the name of fertility. Maybe this is what Tusk is all about?
