  • Fatty Fatty Phonographics are proud to present the first ever 'Dublin Disco All-Dayer', an all-day party in the lush surroundings of Orlagh House in Rathfarnham, County Dublin. Guests of honour will be Black Science Orchestra, with original founder Rob Mello bringing a Live Dex 'n' Fx set to peak the dancefloor. BSO twisted disco and jazz-funk into glorious new shapes in the 90's with 12 inch classics like 'Where Were You?' and the immortal 'New Jersey Deep', as well as producing one of house music's most enduring LP's, 'Walter's Room'. After reforming in 2022, they confidently stepped back onto the scene with a breathtaking remix of Emma Jean Thackray's 'Venus'. Mello and fellow original member Ashley Beedle are currently preparing more new tracks to unleash on an unsuspecting world. Disco oracle Daniel Wang (Balihu Records) will also be in attendance, bringing his trademark combination of classic disco and early house music, not to mention self-played cowbells and self-formedconga lines! His playful, spaced out disco explorations are still hitting the dancefloor hard over 30 years after his classic debut EP 'Look Ma No Drum Machine', and he never fails to get the disco party started right... Aroop Roy is a London-based producer and DJ whose sets have become a by-word for a blend of classic disco, boogie, African and South American rhythms and modern disco-flecked sounds. His catalogue of dancefloor-burning re-edits on labels like GAMM, Basic Fingers and Dublin's own House of Disco Records, as well as a slew of recent back to back sets with the legendary Mr. Scruff, have seen him build a reputation for himself as one of the very best in the modern disco scene. As happy as we are to have these legends from overseas on board, the day will also be about showcasing the very best disco selectors Ireland has to offer. Colm K has been one of the key residents at the long-running Sunday Times parties in Cork. He'll be reuniting with an old friend in the form of Frawl, from the Backwards parties in Limerick. They'll be roundig the party off in proper B2B style after Black Science, digging deep into their vast collections of deep, funky music for the floor. We'll also be showcasing up and coming party starters like Emma Shigeta, Loose Connections and So Soulful DJ's, as well as established crews like Belfast Music Club and Drogheda's External Sounds DJ's. Last but not least, we're delighted to welcome the man himself Conor L, whose regular slots at Horse Meat Disco over the last decade have given him a disco education like no other... The parties will be powered by Klipschorn loudspeakers, the beautiful horn-driven speakers that drove the dancers wild at the seminal 1970's New York party space The Loft. These are the original and very best audiophile speakers, giving your ears a sensual sonic massage no matter how long you spend on the floor. And then there's the incredible venue. Orlagh is truly a unique house set on 50 acres on extensive mature grounds in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, with uninterrupted views of Dublin City Centre, Howth Head and the Irish Sea. There's easy access to everything the great City of Dublin has to offer - it's less than 20 minutes to Dublin Airport and even less into the city centre but with the beauty of the Dublin mountains just moments away too. The dancefloor itself is in a converted church hall with some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Dublin you're ever likely to see. Prepared to be amazed!
