Nonstop is a weekly occurrence at Nowadays, where the music runs from 11pm on Saturday night and doesn't stop until Sunday night, or sometimes even Monday morning. Musically, Nonstop pulls from a variety of genres and musical scenes, and that potential for crossover of different worlds is what excites us most. Tickets work a bit differently for this event, so please make a note of that detail, which you can find explained in full after set times.
For this edition of Nonstop, Mister Saturday Night has assembled a crew of DJs to celebrate their 15th anniversary.
Mister Saturday Night is a party started by DJs Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter. On the weekend of Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009, the first Mister Saturday Night happened at Santos Party House in Chinatown. By autumn of that year, Carter and Harkin had moved into lofts, warehouses and other DIY spaces in Brooklyn. They started Mister Sunday in a back yard on the banks of the Gowanus Canal in 2011.
Both parties continued in makeshift venues and temporary spaces through 2015, when Harkin and Carter opened Nowadays. In 2016 the Nowadays back yard became the permanent home for Mister Sunday, and in December of 2017, Nowadays opened as the full indoor/outdoor club/community space/bar/restaurant that it is now. Mister Saturday Night and Mister Sunday have continued through the growth of Nowadays, which has become a cornerstone and home base for the NYC dance music underground as it has emerged from the long wake of 9/11, the 90s culture wars and Giuliani crackdowns.
On January 13th, 14th and the morning of the 15th, we're hosting a special edition of Nowadays Nonstop that will feature heroes whose parties inspired Carter and Harkin to start their own (Optimo and Danny Krivit), artists they’ve worked with for years (Analog Soul and Duane Harriott), an artist whose ascension has been marked by important appearances at the party and Nowadays (Avalon Emerson), a longtime attendee of the parties and rising DJ in her own right (Rose Kourts), and, of course, Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter themselves.

Tickets are divided by entry time. You must arrive during the hours listed on your ticket. For example, if you buy a "10PM–4AM" ticket, you must get here between 10pm and 4am.
After you've arrived during your designated time window, you can stay as long as you'd like, so long as you abide by our safer space policy (more on that below). You're also welcome to come and go as you please. Re-entry is based on capacity and is not guaranteed.
You can RSVP on the Nowadays website for reduced entrance before midnight.
Online purchases are limited to four tickets maximum per person. If tickets are sold out here, we always hold a good amount at the door. We will do our best to admit those without tickets but entrance is not guaranteed.
